I went to the cardiologist bc of an abnormal ekg saying inferior ischemic. the cardiologist ekg was normal but he wanted echo and stress test to make sure. it been 3 days. if he saw something wrong like heart failure would he let me know right away?

Cardiologist tests: I would think so. Call their office for report would be OK. Or if you have access to your records online you can check there as well.
