Bicep appears to be shrinking. chiro. did bicep reflex test which shows no response. are the two connected? if so, will it continue to shrink?

See a neurologist: Bicep reflexes are hard to test, but it could be related. A colleague had a body builder patient who continually lost muscle in one biceps because of a compressed nerve. The patient thought exercising the shrinking muscle more would help and he waited months before going to a doctor. The disparity in muscle size was obvious by the time he sought medical help. It might be worth seeing an md early.

Yes, but : Get to an md or do physician, and find out what is really wrong. If you have a ruptured disc in your neck pressing upon the c-5-6 nerve root, this would explain your findings. However, forbid your chiropractor to perform high velocity, high amplitude manipulations, as this will make the herniation worse, and could risk your spinal cord.
