Diagnosing Lyme disease is quite complex. In North America, Lyme is uncommon this time of year. Positive IgM antibody for Borrelia burdorferi (the cause of Lyme) can help in diagnosis, but isn't the only test. Unless her doctors are highly experienced with Lyme, ask for consultation with an infectious diseases specialist. Good luck to her.
