Told i have innocent murmur.echo w/ doppler came back norm, but pulm valve not visualized.how do they know that the pulm valve is not causing murmur?

By doppler: Doppler ultrasound is another way we assess the flow of blood across the valve, usually even if the valve is not well visualized, the reader will comment about the presence or absence of stenosis or regurgitation of the valve based on doppler . In certain people we hear a murmur caused by the blood as it flows through the valve and this is benign finding.

They don't. : If they neither saw the pulmonary valve nor measured the doppler flow velocity across the pulmonary valve, they can't be confident that your pulmonary valve is normal.
