What to expect at my 16 week prenatal visit ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Prenatal visit: At 16 weeks, your doctor should check your vital signs, ask you if you have any complaints, go over the recommended tests during this time. He may offer you prenatal risk screen to assess your (as mother) risk of having a baby with chromosome abnormalities such as down syndrome, trisomy 18 and 13. Otherwise, to make sure you're uptodate on the required prenatal labwork. Us is to be expected at 18.
