I scheduled my first prenatal visit for 9 weeks or exactly 2 months past time of missed period. i'm 5 weeks now, should 1st appt. be sooner?

Prenatal : Call the OB doc office tomorrow and ask them if it is ok to wait that long. Take a prenatal vitamin every day. Don't smoke or drink any alcohol nor take any medicines till you see them.

At 34 years of age, you may want to research and know, going into your appointment, what, if any prenatal testing you want? 9 weeks is a good date for dating your pregnancy. Just make sure that you're taking folic acid, and that if you have any medical conditions, you see your doctor sooner.

PREGNANCY: Normally done during the time you are first noted tobe pregnant.But you can be seen anytime during the first trimester.
