Ovulation: Women with regular cycles, have a surge in lh hormone levels that matures and ovulates (releases) the egg 24 - 48 hours later. Not all women will get the discharge so you needn't worry. If you had any treatement to the cervix, this will also lessen the amount of discharge. If you don't get pregnant, your period comes ~12-14 days after ovulation.
