Linear erythema: The red line on top of the gum is term 'linear erythema'. Most likely you are suffering from a condition of chronic inflame gum, which is developing into anug (acute necrotizing ulcerative gingivitis). The best treatment would be a good diagnosis and cleaning with your dentist, antibiotics (amoxicillin), good oral hygiene (brush with ultrasoft toothbrush), salt water for mouthwash.
