Oral Vanco + C. diff: Have you checked your temperature when you feel hot or cold? Drug fever is a rare but known side effect of oral vancomycin (as noted in this profile). Very rarely can orally administered vancomycin be absorbed into the systemic circulation which is another possibility. Your doctor can help determine if this is a minor side effect or not.
