See below: Either the bacteria are resistant to Amoxicillin or residual inflammation both of which have similar symptoms. Suggest ENT evaluation to obtain cultures by endoscopic exam and treat with appropriate antibiotics and oral steroids. If therapy ineffective then ct of sinuses.
