No worry: Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic. Not a big deal if you started 1 pill twice a day for first 2 days. Most sinus infections are treated easily with 500 mg of Amoxicillin three times each day for 10 days. It is also ok to continue 2 pills bid for the next 8 days.
