Am confused, as: Dilantin is a drug used to prevent seizures, not strokes, and if you have a stroke risk, there is no protection from dilantin. However, if your doctor referred to a seizure as a "mini-stroke" and now you are free of spells, maybe a good idea to stay on medicine for a few years. In absence of any further particulars, would urge you to discuss fully with your doctor, and include your question.
