A member asked:

Why aren't my b12 levels improving even though i'm taking in the vitamin?

B12 replacement: To answer this question effectively, i would need to know the dose and route you are currently taking. If taking it orally, the usual dose is 1000 mcg (1 mg) once daily but I have had to increase some of my patients to 2 mg. If taking shots, be sure that your med is fresh, that you are administering it correctly, and that you followed the 'loading protocol' given by your doctor.
