A member asked:

My b12 level was <109 pmol/l. i took half of the vitamin course, 500 mg daily for about a month, then stopped and tested two months later and the result is 133. is this normal absorption given finishing half of the course? if not, what's the cause?

Malabsorption: Your stomach and intestine may not be absorbing B12 normally. You may need to get injection of vitamin B12. You may try taking sub-lingual form of B12 for three months and repeat the test to see if you may be able to avoid getting injections.
