Doc will decide: There are several options that your doc will have in this situation. The most effective use of antibiotics in gbs carriers is when administered IV during labor. Oral meds do not seem to be as effective.

Clindamycin /Vanco : It depends on the type of penicillin allergy. If it's just a rash you can safely take cephalosporins like keflex. If hives, or anaphylaxis you cannot take cephalosporins. As you are allergic to macrolide antibiotics as well Clindamycin would be the best oral drug while vancomycin would be best for IV treatment in this situation.
