Yes! Depression: Is treatable. There are many things you can do to help overcome your depression. See a good therapist. Cognitive behavioral therapy or insight oriented psychotherapy are great. Meds may be indicated. Sleep at least 8 hours/ night, hydrate with at least 64 oz of water /day, stay physically active & eat healthfully. Consider tai chi, acupuncture, yoga, meditation & deep breathing exercises.
