When people are: Bored or find life unfulfilling, fantasy can be a fall back. If you daydream about a girlfriend & find that pleasurable - that is very common. If you start to believe that an imaginary person is real - that would be unhealthy. Here is the issue with spending a lot of time in fantasy - that is time that you are not engaged in real life. Find friends. Consider talking therapy. Be physically active.
