Survival rate of stomach cancer stage 4?

4-18 months: Stage 4 stomach (gastric) cancer means the cancer has spread or metastasized to sites far from the stomach. Unfortunately, the prognosis is poor. The median range of survival for stage 4 gastric cancer is 4 - 18 months. Experimental treatment options may be available depending upon your locale.

Usually months: This can be a very difficult disease to treat. Patients who have spread to many different parts of the body have a very limited survival. A very small percentage of patients with stage IV gastric adenocarcinoma have isolated metastasis that can be effectively treated with surgery and chemotherapy, but this is extremely unusual.
