Yes: Aspirin can be used for jaw pain short term. You should see a dentist to find out where the pain is coming from and have it treated. If you have a bad tooth causing the pain and there is a possibility it will need extraction, avoid Aspirin as it can make you bleed more. Tylenol (acetaminophen) may be a better choice.

Yes: Aspirin is the original anti-inflammatory, however, i prefer Ibuprofen as it lasts longer.
