I : I am sorry that you are going through this. Different types of headaches include migraines, which are usually associated with visual symptoms, nausea, and vomiting; viral headaches, which are usually when a patient has other viral/cold symptoms; sinus headaches, which are often in the front portion of the head and are associated with sinus pressure and discharge; muscle tension headaches, that are all across the head, sometimes the neck, and relieved with advil, tylenol, (acetaminophen) or massage; and more serious causes of headaches. If a headache is new, persistent, associated with fever, vomiting, weakness, or rash, then the patient should be seen by a physician for evaluation.
