MRIs: An MRI is performed with strong magnets, so there is no radiation risk.

Generally safe: Mri scans without contrast would be very safe and have no known long term side effects. Mris use magnets and radio waves to make images of the body. There is no ionizing radiation as with x-rays.

Usually: Hi, i agree with the other answers. However, i wanted to add some details: there are potential risks with mri. Make sure that you are carefully screened for contraindications that include the following: orbital metal (from trauma or metal) - imaging can potentially lead to vision loss if there is orbital metal, pacemaker, cochlear implants, and certain aneurysm clips and cardiac prosthetic valves.

Unlikey: No xrays- only electromagnetic, - no known significant risk - if not contraindicated by other issues.
