A member asked:

If asbestos was found beneath the (cracking) floors of a building, and a person has been exposed for over 10 years, is the chance of serious health risk high?

Pretty low: For asbestos to be a health risk small fibers have to be generated into the air. Most of the asbestos in floor tile and glues is fairly stable, and only become hazardous when those are being broken up for removal. If there are concerns for how much is getting into the air sampling should be done by a certified testing company.
