Normal orBlepharitis: Sleeping late puts a lot of pressure on exposed conjunctival vessels. Then if you don't get enough sleep and get up early you have vascular reactive conjunctivitis that can happen to anyone. If you have blepharitis even with normal sleep you can wake up with red eyes.
