UTI: Uti = urinary tract infection. These bladder or kidney infections won't go away on their own so if you're ok w/o antibiotics, you probably didn't have an infection. Spotting is normal in young women who haven't established a regular cycle.

Not UTI: UTIs don't normally get better without treatment. Probably just had symptoms of dehydration. Spotting can happen during stressful times or if your cycle is off. Blood during urination is abnormal and should always be evaluated.
