Labeling: Dear 18 year old - you are putting the horse before the cart. You have already listed yourself as having dementia as a condition. Please don't label yourself -it can only be harmful to you. If you have depersonalization & problems with memory have this addressed by your physician, a psychologist or a psychiatrist. Marked anxiety is one cause for depersonalization & memory problems. Don't self dx.

No but go see ur doc: I'm sorry to hear that your grandmother was diagnosed w/early onset dementia. Just because you have a bad memory doesn't mean you have dementia. If you can't pay attention to things around you, it's difficult to remember them. Best to go see your doctor to make sure you're otherwise healthy (aside from sleep apnea & high blood pressure). Use your CPAP machine as directed & take BP meds as directed.

No dementia: Your symptoms are unlikely to be due to dementia especially at your young age. See your doctor or a therapist regarding your concerns.
