No dementia: I would recommend seeing a sleep specialist who is either a psychiatrist or a neurologist and who can gather more history. It is possible you are too self-absorbed to recall, you are sleep deprived, or your sleep apnea is not well controlled. Dissociation of a more complex type is a more remote possibility but needs to be checked out.Best wishes. I hope next time you can jog your memory more.
