Metallic taste: Certain antibiotics can cause a temporary metallic taste in the throat. If the post nasal drip is clear and there is no fevers or chills you have allergy until proven otherwise. Talk to your family doctor's office and have them send you in a prescription for a nasal steroid (cheapest generic is fluticasone). Use two sprays once a day and that will also help the congestion. Good luck.
