More research needed: Interesting question! stem cells are fascinating and do have cannaboid receptors. It is thought marijuana might increase stem cell proliferation and direct their migration to bone marrow, but this research is preliminary and much more research is needed before any conclusions can be reached. No evidence: I am unaware of any scientific evidence of the effect on bone or stem cell growth. Biocellular therapy using stem/stromal cells and biologic agents (like platelet concentrates) are stimulated by growth factors and signal proteins to produce the healing effects. If you have such evidence you should post it on the site or inform your doctors.

It's Possible: Check out Regenexx.Com. The have the single largest registry in the country of patients with degenerative joint disease that have used their stem cell procedures with good outcomes. Regarding Marijuana they have good evidence that they recommend not using it for treatments. There is more clinic evidence on their website.
