A member asked:

If you and your partner have never had signs of genital herpes, but your partner has been with several people, is it likely you have genital herpes?

No: Unlikely that you have herpes. If you're worried, though, there are tests that you take. A blood test will tell you if you've ever been exposed to herpes. It won't tell you when that exposure was (unless it was in the last few months). If that test is negative, that may ease your mind about your partner. It is possible to have been exposed and yet to never have an outbreak. See a doc!

Possible.: Viruses dormant sometimes and surface during stressful situations/aftee excess friction involved during the sexual relationship .First time when herpes comes the manifestations are different than the following episodes. First time from the affected skin regions pus comes and leaving shallow ulcers (open superficial sores-with without fever, weakness, odypains etc. Later vesices-small, grouped one.
