What does it mean if my 3 and 4 yr old daughters have fever and the back of theyre throats are swollen?

See your doctor: Your daughters are too young to complain about pain but you may notice that they eating or drinking less than usual. These are signs and symptoms that suggest throat infection. Often these are viral in nature and resolve within a few days. If the fever persists, you should take them their doctor. A throat culture can be done to check for strep throat. Control the fever and encourage fluid intake.

Hand Foot Mouth: From your other question, you mentioned your son was diagnosed with hand foot mouth disease. It is likely that his sisters have the same illness. Continue with the same suggestions you used for your son.
