Not if symptoms gone: Classic symptoms of appendicitis include peri-umbilical pain which then migrates to right lower quadrant, anorexia, nausea, fever. The pain does not resolve on it's own. Inflamed appendix has high chance of perforation 24h after onset of symptoms. If the pain persists go to ed where they can do bloodwork and imaging studies. In a female, the pain can be caused by gyn problem as well.
