RLQ persistent pain: When appendix becomes inflamed it starts in mucosa of AP and pain reeferred to peri umbilical area with rebound.tenderness. As inflammation reaches serosa pain shifts to RLQ. To confirm AP, CBC should be elevated and abdominal scan show appendicolith.
