A 35-year-old female asked:

Is it normal to have a 4"x2.5" bruise after a blood test, for it to take 2.5 weeks to fade and leave a slight scar? just due to not putting pressure?

Yes: A bruise is common after a blood draw and can be from inadequate pressure. It can take over a week to go away and should not scar.
