Had ectopic:jan. pregnant 7wk as per lmp. had u/s had gestational sac measuring 5.3wk. hcg4000. dr said day may b off or ectopic. is ectopic possible?

Low chance: Having seen an intrauterine sac, the chances are less for an ectopic. An HCG level of 4000 would match a 5 weeks pregnancy. You usually see a heart beat at about 6 weeks.
