A member asked:

Can a empty gestational sac be in the uterus and the pregnancy be ectopic? is that possible?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If the gestational sac was seen in the uterus, then that can't be an ectopic pregnancy. There is a very rare condition where there is a normal pregnancy within the uterus and an ectopic at the same time.
