Yes but rare: It is possible to have an ectopic pregnancy at the same time as a pregnancy in the uterus, whether the pregnancy in the uterus is healthy or not. This is called a heterotopic pregnancy, and is rare (about 1 in 4000 pregnancies) but is more common with fertility treatment where you release more than one egg. Symptoms may be pain or abnormal bleeding - talk to your doctor asap if experiencing pain.
