Similar: Both Bromday and generic bromfenac are 0.09% solutions. Bromday is a different formulation which was approved by the fda for control of inflammation post-operatively after cataract surgery using it once a day. Generic bromfenac was approved for twice a day use. The generic form was never studied at once a day dosage, but i think it is as effective as bromday, using both once a day.

Use with caution: Though most generics are ok, there can be quality issues and therefore safety issues with their use. I realize brombay is very expensive, but depending on how serious your eye problem is, you may want to use the 'branded' drug.
