A member asked:

What effects do you get when you hit of cut on the ulnar nerve in the elbow?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

'funny bone': Hitting the elbow in the spot between the boney prominences (the 'ulnar groove') sets off the ulnar nerve (like a 'short circuit) momentarily and may cause a tingling/electric feeling into the 4th and 5th fingers and the outer part of the hand on that side.
