Stability: Secondary progressive MS is very difficult to treat, but several interventions may help, and new medications are being developed. MS can be associated with many co-morbidities and these issues can make your situation far worse. The doctor needs to check for occult infections, vitamin deficiencies, issues with memory and concentration, and alert you to new interventions which may appear.
