Being a Human: Nope. Not at all. That is a very negative view of humanity, in my opinion. It may stem from your youth, but disease really does happen; mental health and stress really exist and make diseases worse. All humans are imperfect, even you at age 19. I would advise some time volunteering in your community to learn compassion and empathy.

Stress: The majority of patients I have seen over 30 plus years have been exposed to unfortunate situations they certainly would not have voted for if they had a choice. Blaming is counterproductive, understanding how behavior came about and then working to change non productive patterns is far more important. Best.
