Scaly itchy lesion: Best to see your doctor as pigmented lesions with itchiness or scaling may need to be biopsied. We obviously get more concerned about lesions which are darker, larger than 6mm in size with irregular borders or having a variegated color but our index for suspicion is high when lesions behave abnormally.
