I picked at a mole, and it scabbed, and i accidentally scratched the scab off and the mole was completely fine before i picked at it and didnt itch or anything. but now its like a purple color, is it because i scratched it? it did bleed?

The discoloration is caused by blood breakdown products after bleeding within the skin rather than open skin. Make sure that your skin lesion reverts to its original state when any and all discoloration or swelling resolves. Do not pick at the mole. You may watch and wait. If the mole doubles in size, becomes irregular in size, shape or color, bleeds, ulcerates or develops a nodule, see a doctor. Wish you good health!
