A member asked:

I previously had chronic bronchitis and have since suffered from reflux due to the weakness in my diaphragm. what should i do to fix this?

Complex issues: Your chronic bronchitis is unusual in a non-smoker, but could conceivably result from aspiration of gastric acid from reflux esophagitis. See a GI physician to see if this can be medically controlled, since surgery to correct an esophageal hernia is often reserved for cases in which medical care fails. Good luck.
