Entirely different: You have to wait for final report , don't worry for a pathologist it is as easy as distinguishing an apple from orange. Lymphoid follicles are normal lymph tissue common at that site. Rare carcinoid tumors from neuroendocrine cells (nerve cell ) produce systemic symptoms due to histamine & serotonin secretion , if it is you are lucky found it very early stage , you will be fine follow with doctor.

Your doctor can expl: It does not seem that there is anything serious here. A lymphoid follicle is likely benign and does not require anything further done right now. A carcinoid is a low grade cancer which requires no medical treatment once it is surgically removed. So there is nothing serious right now. But follow it up with your doctor.
