Why does depression reccur if medicines are discontinued?

Recurrence of sxs: Likely means that your brain wasn't ready for the medications to be stopped. For a number of antidepressants you need to wait at least 5 weeks after discontinuation to ensure that the depressive symptoms don't return. Please let your prescribing provider know.
