Lost blood clot: It sounds like you lost the blood clot that seals the socket after wisdom teeth are removed. Keep biting on gauze pads or tea bags with pressure for several hours at a time. If bleeding does not stop, see your dentist.

See a dentist: Roll up some gauze and bite on it for 30 minutes. I also recommend returning to see the dentist that extracted the tooth to look at the extraction site and then give you correct information.
