Possibly related: Pinkish bleeding after tooth extraction is not unusual but two weeks after the extraction makes me concerned about overall oral health. Gum disease is the most likely cause of most minor oral bleeding but it can also be an indicator of general health issues. Make sure you follow up with your dentist and if it does not resolve it might be a good idea to see your primary care physician.

Bleeding: It's not uncommon to have the wound site irritated while your sleeping by your tongue if it rubs the site. This might account for some minimal bleeding that mixed with saliva looks worse than it really is. It also might be from some local or generalized gum inflammation. Please return to your own dentist to be evaluated for cause and recommendations.
