Calll dentist: I would call your dentist if the bleeding has not stopped.. You can try dampened black tea bags until you get in and leave them there for an hour and keep pressure on it..I would avoid spitting or rinsing for the next 24 hours. You can use ice for the first 24 hours. If the bleeding has stopped you can begin rinsing with warm salt water rinses 24 hours after the bleeding ceases.

Gentle Pressure: Apply sterile gauze and bite firmly for 15 minutes, repeat if bleeding continues. A would can slightly bleed for up to 24 hours. See your dentist for a follow up if bleeding persists.

Pain/bleeding: Please call the professional that knows you best, the Dentist or Oral Surgeon that removed your molar. There are many possible causes for post-operative pain, and solution depends on the cause. Post-op care is part of your Dentist's responsibilities, so call for support. In the meantime keep gentle firm pressure on the extraction site by biting on a gauze pad.
