A member asked:

Is it true that honey really good for you, or is it just a healthy, natural alternative to sugar?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sugar substitute: Honey is higher in glucose than cane sugar and therefore has less fructose. It has a different taste which many prefer. It is a useful alternative and probably is slightly healthier on a calorie equivalent basis than regular sugar.
