Chapped lips: You may have developed a skin infection of your lips which you are constantly reinfecting by using contaminated lip products. I would see your physician to make sure you don't have a recurrent herpes, staphylococcal ,streptococcal, or fungal infection of your lips. All of the above products could cause a contact dermatitis of the lips which can get superinfected and cause this presenation,,
